Pastor Sam Rivera is a native New Yorker (Puerto Rican from the Bronx) and has been involved in ministry since the 1980s. In 1998, Pastor Sam founded Heartland Ministry, through which individuals can receive ministerial credentials. He is known for his humorous preaching style and for operating in the word of knowledge, prophecy, and deliverance and holds a Bachelor of Theology. Sam is honored to be a part of the diverse leadership at Upper Room Worship and believes in its vision to have an organic church that resembles the New Testament believers where the Word of God is not compromised and the Holy Spirit is allowed to have His way.
Jane, a native of Greenville, SC, has been a follower of Jesus her entire life. Over the years she has been involved with youth, women's, and adult ministries. She has also been involved in community outreach, most recently helping to establish a free dental clinic in Pickens County.
In 2007 she founded Reserve Worship, a multi-denominational Christian church on Lake Keowee.
Jane is excited to answer God's latest call to establish a Worship Gathering in downtown Greenville.
Her vision for Upper Room Worship is to have an all-inclusive worship gathering that mirrors the early Christian church with the pure teachings of Jesus.
